Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services. By submitting an enquiry or entering into a service agreement with Heirloomly, you agree to the terms set out below. If you have any questions, we are always happy to clarify — please reach out before proceeding.
1. About Us
Heirloomly is a personal document organisation and family memory archiving service based in Bangkok, Thailand. Our registered address is 42 Yaowarat Road, Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10100. You may contact us by telephone at +66 91 506 2837 or by email at [email protected].
These terms apply to all three of our services: Personal Papers Organising, Storytelling & Legacy Sessions, and Heirloom & Photo Archiving.
2. Nature of Our Services
Our services are strictly organisational, educational and archiving in nature. We do not provide, and nothing we say, write or present should be understood as:
- Legal advice or legal document drafting of any kind
- Financial, tax or accounting advice
- Medical or psychological guidance
- Professional estate planning or will drafting
If you require professional legal, financial or other licensed advice, we encourage you to engage a suitably qualified practitioner. We are happy to discuss your organisational needs separately.
3. Engaging Our Services
A service engagement begins when you submit a completed enquiry form or contact us directly and we confirm acceptance in writing (including by email). A deposit or full payment may be requested before work commences, as agreed in your service confirmation. We reserve the right to decline an engagement at our discretion before a written confirmation is issued.
4. Pricing & Payment
Our current service prices are as follows:
- Personal Papers Organising — ฿3,700
- Storytelling & Legacy Sessions — ฿13,500
- Heirloom & Photo Archiving — ฿30,500
All prices are stated in Thai Baht and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise in your written confirmation. Prices are subject to change; any change will be communicated before a new engagement is confirmed. Payment terms and accepted methods will be specified in your individual service agreement.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances change, and we will always try to be flexible and considerate. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session or project:
- Please notify us as early as possible by telephone or email.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled visit or session will incur no charge.
- Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a reasonable administration fee as specified in your service agreement.
- Work already completed and materials already prepared may be charged proportionally.
6. Your Documents & Property
We treat every item we handle with the utmost care and respect. The following applies to all physical and digital materials:
- We do not remove original documents or heirlooms from your premises without your explicit written consent.
- Digital copies created during a project remain yours; we delete all working copies from our systems once the project is complete and delivery is confirmed.
- We recommend that you retain all original documents and that we work from good-quality copies wherever possible.
- While we take all reasonable care, we accept no liability for pre-existing damage to fragile or aged materials.
7. Confidentiality
All information, documents and family details shared with us in connection with a service engagement are treated as strictly confidential. We do not share client information with any third party except where required by Thai law. Staff are bound by confidentiality obligations. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how personal data is handled.
8. Intellectual Property
All organisational frameworks, session materials, templates and written guides we provide to you during a service engagement are for your personal, non-commercial use only. The copyright in such materials remains with Heirloomly unless otherwise agreed in writing. The content of your family archive — your photographs, stories and documents — belongs entirely to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, Heirloomly's liability for any claim arising from a service engagement is limited to the amount paid for that engagement. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable Thai law.
10. Website Use
The content of this website is provided for general information only. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate and up to date, but we make no representations or warranties regarding its completeness or fitness for any particular purpose. You may not reproduce or redistribute website content without our prior written permission.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The current version will always be available at this URL with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
